\nThe Ondo State Government has confirmed the first case of COVID-19 in the state.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThis was disclosed by the Governor of the State, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu via his official Twitter account.<\/div>\n

\nGovernor Akeredolu revealed the State got the report from the Nigeria Centre for Disease  Control (NCDC) few hours ago.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nHe wrote,<\/div>\n

\n
\nWe have just received confirmation of our first positive #COVID\u30fc19  case in Ondo State this evening. <\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nThe infected person is currently under isolation and will be monitored. We have activated all necessary protocol to locate all contacts and will be working closely with @NCDCgov.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nThe infected is in very stable condition and we ask for calm from all in Ondo State.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nWe are on top of this and ask that our citizens continue to follow all preventive measures to ensure they remain safe. <\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
