Report says a child was confirmed dead while six others were rescued after the collapse of a three-storey building on Freeman Street, Lagos Island, Lagos State.
It was gathered that, the three-storey building was discovered to have totally collapsed on occupants fast asleep inside about 4:05am.
It was further learnt that neighbours of the victims alerted emergency responders.
The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident adding that, the corpse had been taken to the mortuary, adding that on-the-spot treatment had been administered on rescued victim.
